BCB Premier Cricket Division Weekend Results | Bernews.com

A number of cricket games took place this past weekend, with Southampton Rangers, St. David?s Cricket Club, Somerset Bridge, Devonshire Recreation Club, Willow Cuts and Cleveland County all recording wins.

Southampton Rangers Win by 104 Runs: Southampton Rangers 242 PHC 138

At the PHC Stadium, Derrick Brangman scored 48 not out to lead the Southampton Rangers to a score of 242 all out, Gerald Simons added 46. Delray Rawlins was the pick of the PHC bowlers returning figures of 10-0-49-3, while Charles Symons bowled 10-1-45-2.

In return PHC were bowled all out for 138, Rawlins was the top scorer with 42, while Symons added 21, former PHC player Kevin Tucker returned bowling figures of 9-1-25-4 for the Southampton Rangers, while Alex Dore bowled 4-1-10-2.

St. David?s Cricket Club Win by 8 Wickets: Somerset Bridge 58 St. David?s Cricket Club 62/2

At Lord?s in St. David?s, the Somerset Bridge won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled all out for 58 in 19 overs, with 16 year-old Jahnoi Bean the top scorer with 15. Justin Pitcher returned a season best thus far bowling figures of 10-1-20-8.

In return St. David?s Cricket Club scored 62/2, McLaren Lowe was the top scorer with 38 not out, while Laren Marshall added 19 not out, Noel Woods was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers returning figures of 6-0-30-2.

Somerset Cricket Club Win by 7 Wickets: Western Stars 166/9 Somerset Cricket Club 167/3

At the St. John?s Field, Western Stars won the toss and elected to bat, they scored 166/9 in their allotted 50 overs, Tamiko Wilson was their top scorer with 52, while Neon Steede added 34, Shaquille Jones was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 10-2-20-3.

In reply the Somerset Cricket Club scored 167/3, Jones was the top scorer with a knock of 57, while Joshua Gilbert scored 48 not out, Brian Hall had figures of 7-0-28-1 for Western Stars, while Rohan Davis bowled 10-0-33-1.

Devonshire Recreation Club Win by 3 Wickets: Warwick Workmen?s 210/9 Devonshire Recreation Club 213/7

At the Southampton Oval, the Devonshire Recreation Club won the toss and sent Warwick Workmen?s to bat, Lionel Cann who was dropped four times was the top scorer with 74, while Jade Darrell added 64, Jodi Maroni was the pick of the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers with figures of 8-0-40-2, while Lamont Marshall bowled 10-1-44-2.

In reply the Devonshire Recreation Club scored 213/7, former Warwick Workmen?s Club player Lamar Caines was the top scorer with 57 not out, while another former Warwick player Devonshire Recreation Club captain Steven Bremar added 36. Kani Darrell led the Warwick Workmen?s bowling attack with figures of 7-0-39-2 and San?j Dill bowled 10-1-43-2.

Willow Cuts Win by 60 Runs: Willow Cuts 216/7 Bailey?s Bay 156

At the White Hill Field, Willow Cuts won the toss and went to bat, they scored 216/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Dexter Basden was the top scorer with 52, while Chris Foggo added 30, Cal Dill was the pick of the Bailey?s Bay bowlers returning figures of 8-0-49-4, while Ryan Steede bowled 10-0-42-2.

In reply Bailey?s Bay were bowled all out for 156, Rodney Trott was the top scorer with 44, while Kye Hodsoll and Sinclair Smith both added 24. Kamal Bashir was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 8-1-40-4, while Deunte Darrell bowled 5.1-1-22-2.

Cleveland County Win by 3 Wickets: Flatts Victoria 110 Cleveland County 111/7

At the Wellington Oval, Flatt?s Victoria won the toss and elected to bat scoring 110 all out, Vernon Eve was the top scorer with 30, Shakai Darrell was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 4.4-2-9-2, while Tamauri Tucker bowled 4-0-24-2.

In reply Cleveland County scored 111/7, Allan Douglas Jr. was the top scorer with 36, Dejuan Carey was the pick of the Flatt?s Victoria bowlers with figures of 3-0-11-2, while Kamal Trott returned figures of 6.2-2-23-2.
