Under the Willow Tree

Just a little poem I wrote for school.

Our mamas rocked us
Under the willow tree
Two little sleeping babies
Snoring silently

We set up our lemonade stand
under the willow tree
trying to get enough money
to buy a new dolly

We played tag and hide-and-seek
Under the Willow Tree
I hid behind the skinny trunk
You would always find me

We played with your new puppy
Under the willow tree
As he would ?Bark Bark?
And wag his tail with glee

I met you for a picnic
Under the willow tree
We?d talk about boys
And how cute they?d always be

We rocked our own babies
Under the willow tree
My baby said her first words
And finally called me Mommy

I wept over your grave
Under the willow tree
I laid a flower on the spot
Where you were resting peacefully

I'd love feedback. Thanks. :)
